Transportation
St. Bernard students come from the Mt. Lebanon, Keystone Oaks, Chartiers Valley, Carlynton, Upper St. Clair, Baldwin-Whitehall, City of Pittsburgh, Peters Township, and Bethel Park School Districts. All transportation to and from school is according to the policy of the each school district. Busing is provided for students outside these districts on an as needed basis by each district.
| WALKERS Crossing Guards are provided at many intersections for the student body walking to and from school. Students must cross with the crossing guards.

| SCHOOL-SPONSORED TRANSPORTATION St. Bernard School does not provide transportation for students. All transportation to and from school is according to the policy of the each school district. Transportation for school-sponsored events is by contract with the Mathews Bus Service, or with a licensed motor coach company.

| FIELD TRIPS Transportation for field trips that are long distances are by contract with a licensed motor coach company. When a field trip is a short distance, the local school bus company will be used. In Grades K-7 the teachers and volunteer parents chaperone field trips. In Grade 8, teachers and parents chaperone usually with a priest or other faculty and school staff.
