The students have available to them a certified guidance counselor and a school psychologist provided by the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit. The counselor is available for sessions with individual students.  A teacher who sees a need for any of these sessions can contact the guidance counselor. The counselor provides services for students who have directly contacted her or who have a referral via parents or school staff.

A licensed school psychologist is available for consultation.  Pastoral counsel is available from the priests who maintain close contact with the school.

REMEDIAL

The Allegheny County Intermediate Unit provides the school with specialists in the areas of Speech, Reading and Math.  Classroom teachers and the Intermediate Unit support staff have a strong working relationship.
